2019
During the winter months of 2019, between one and three in the afternoon, the sunlight coming through the window of my studio made all the objects in the room have very long shadows. For this work I used a piece of tin foil that was folded in different ways to manipulate the shadow cast on a blank piece of paper. Although the series consists of several photographs, I consider that the elaboration process is much closer to drawing, since the projected shadows were used as the main material instead of ink.
With the arrival of spring, sunlight sopped producing these type of shadows, marking also the end of the work. The result is the thirty five photographs presented.
